In Juan Olaso S.A. we offer different varieties of MANDARINES which grow in our own farms allowing us to serve our customers throughout the different season. Each variety has different flavour properties whether other aspects such as the skin, aging, etc.. We choose the right varieties for each season moment to meet the needs of our customers optimally.

NOVA / CLEMENVILLA

MID SEASON TANGOR

Fina Clementine and Orlando Tangelo hybrid, it has its origins in Florida. It was introduced in Spain around 1971. Quite sized and dense fruits. FORTUNA

LATE TANGOR

This fruit is Fina clementine and Dancy Mandarine hybrid, originated in Califormina. The fruit was introduced in Spain in 1966, it has a late maturation, medium sized and with an intense reddish colour. It has a tender and melting pulp. It has a high juice content with a high content in acid and sugar. It is seedless with smooth and thin skin. (Patrones y Variedades de cítricos, Generalitat Valenciana. ORTANIQUE

LATE TANGOR

Tangor fruit originated in Jamaica and introduced in Spain in 1971. It has a wide harvesting preiod, having a ealy season start and late finish. Its fruit is big, oblate and with an areole which characterizes it. It presents a melting pulp, with a a lot of juice content with balanced flavour between acid and sugar. Its skin is strong and keeps its conditions during long time in the tree, presenting good characteriztis for its conservation during long time after harvesting. MURCOTT

LATE MANDARINE

Hybrid born in USA from unknown parents, starting its multiplication in 1922. The tree is quite igorous, with small spines. Polen viability is average, being self-incompatible. (www.ivia.es)

MID TO LATE SEASON MANDARIN

This fruit is a mandarin variety developed in California m. They are medium sized and with oblate shape. It is moderately easy to peel, being the flesh bright orange, finely-textured, and seedless. The flavor is rich and sweet. The fruit usually matures by early March, but holds exceptionally well on the tree, with summer-harvested fruit still being of good quality.

NADORCOTT

LATE SEASON CLEMENTINE

Hybrid variety originated from the Murcott variety in Morocco. The fruit is very tasty and presents a reddish colour. The variety is parthenocarpic and self-incompatible.(www.ivia.es)
