ORANGE VARIETIES

NAVELATE     MID SEASON ORANGE

Originated in Vinaroz in 1948, it is a spontaneous mutation of Washington Navel which was introduced in 1957. The fruit is smaller to Washington Navel fuits, round and slightly ovalated. Its skin is thinner and more consistent. Its colour is pale orange, and its navel is externally apparent, and sometines it arrives until the ecuatorial line of the fruit internally.  Its pulp is firm and it has good fruit performance.
